Accra Great Olympics captain, Gladson Awako, is set to complete a mega transfer to rivals Accra Hearts of Oak in the coming days.
According to reports, Awako turned down a contract renewal offer from the Olympics and will leave on free when his current deal comes to an end after the conclusion of the MTN FA Cup.
The former Ghana U-20 star was in remarkable form this season for Great Olympics, steering the Dade boys a 6th placed finish in the just ended Ghana Premier League.
Hearts are also set to be in the hunt for Medeama midfielder Richard Boadu ‘Agadas’, as a replacement for Benjamin Afutu Kottey who will leave at the end of the season.
Awako is set to receive a bumper pay rise, as the Phobians beef up their squad ahead of next season’s CAF Champions League campaign.
