According to 'Sky Sports', Chelsea are not willing to increase their bid up to 80 million euros to get hold of Jules Kounde.
The French central defender was not in the squad for the last match as he was about to leave, but he may end up staying.
If something has become clear in this transfer market, it is that no team will let their top players go just like that. That is the case of Sevilla, who are willing to sell Kounde, but without dropping their asking price by even a single euro.
According to 'Sky Sports', the 80 million euros the La Liga side are asking for are too much for Chelsea. The Blues only want to pay up to 50.
Despite the fact the Blues got some money from Zouma's sale, the West Londoners are not willing to add them to the first offer they put in. That was something Sevilla were hoping would happen, but that now seems unlikely.
Barring a major surprise, Kounde will stay at Sevilla, at least for this season. If Chelsea do not pay the 80 million in the next 24 hours or so, the Frenchman will keep on playing for the Andalusian outfit.(Credit:BeSoccer)
